The CEO, Suleiman J. Akanbi: My experience in life (in Nigeria and the Netherlands) has triggered me to start this business.
Nigeria is a blessed land with vast resources but most of the people live daily without light.
In the Netherlands, I enjoy the constant supply of electricity. It allows the children to read their schoolbooks and the grown-ups to cook and read and run businesses after sunset. Now, I sell durable handy solar lights that benefit people in Africa at places with irregular electricity supply.

Africa need to introduce renewable for economic growth
Africa is naturally rich in mineral resources but Africans are poor to feed themselves because of low income that can not cope with inflation spiral on foods and leave little for investment. Electricty supply is very poor since government does not see it as number one priority. Light is important for production of good and services without which our citizenry can not do much economic activities. Light brings happiness at home for both youth and elders. WE use this medium to appeal to Africa governments to make light their number one on scale of preference so that there will be increased in gross domestic production in this continent.
